Vital Records (births, marriages, deaths), Election Support, Minutes of Boards, Vehicle/Boat/Pet Registrations

The Town Office building, 13 Center Road, has a sealed ‘drop box’ outside the entry way where you can deposit motor vehicle and pet registration information.  Please provide a self-addressed, stamped envelope for return mail back to you.

The Town Clerk’s Office accepts cash or checks made out to “Town of Unity”. ONE CHECK is now accepted for DMV transactions. In 2023, the Town Clerk’s Office strives to expand payment options to include possibly paying by credit/debit card. Watch for news on future developments.

The State of New Hampshire, Department of Public Safety/DMV, requires positive identification for anyone wishing to register, update, or modify any transaction record. Thank you for your cooperation.

The Department of Motor Vehicles provides an application for “initial plates” otherwise known as vanity plates. When you complete the application and present it to the clerk, DMV will respond to the availability of that configuration of characters.  Additional fees apply.

Every owner of a dog 4 months old or over shall annually register your pet [RSA 466:1] at the Town Clerk’s Office by April 30th.

Please contact your veterinarian to have your dog inoculation documents sent to the Town Clerk.
